Members of our executive met with Councillor McHattie and members of the city’s Planning department on Tuesday, Sept. 17. This was an opportunity for city planners involved in the development of the plan to explain the rationale behind permitting 19 houses on Strathcona and Inchbury at York Blvd to be marked for high density residential development.
In early 2012, Councillor McHattie started working with representatives from the Kirkendall Neighbourhood Association and the Strathcona Community Council to look at creating a new Dundurn bus route.
