Strathcona Community Council – 2018 Annual General Meeting

Please join us at the 2018 Strathcona Community Council Annual General Meeting: Thursday, November 29 7 pm to 9 pm Erskine Presbyterian Church – 19 Pearl St. North Come meet your neighbourhood association, and find out how you can get involved! To start we’ll be covering the required business for the SCC AGM itself, where we’ll be approving last year’s minutes, the financial statement, and we’ll elect the council executive. If you are interested in running for an elected position (or being a member at large) on the SCC executive, please let our president know by email at strathconacommunitycouncil@gmail.com. At the meeting we’ll ask everyone running to just say a few words about themselves and why they want to be on the executive before our vote. Our incoming Ward 1 Councillor Maureen Wilson will also be there to say a few words before she formally starts her term as our Councillor. Unfortunately our outgoing Councillor Aidan Johnson will not be able to attend the AGM this year. Finally, we’ll have Sgt. Amanda Gill, the west-end crime manager for the Hamilton Police Service. She will have a presentation with crime stats for our neighbourhood and other info from the police, and she will have time to take questions too. Hope to see you...

Please join us at the 2017 Strathcona Community Council Annual General Meeting, on Thursday, November 23, between 7 pm and 9 pm, at Erskine Presbyterian Church.
